Paula Deen® Home Décor
|
With several best selling cookbooks, a lifestyle magazine, and not one, but two hit shows on The Food Network, Paula Deen is one of the country’s most beloved celebrity chefs. Paula Deen, a typical housewife from Albany, GA, started her culinary career out of her home in 1989 with a home-based lunch delivery service. She self published her own cook book in 1997 and it was picked up by a major publishing house. In 2002, "Paula’s Home Cooking" premiered on the Food Network and by late 2005 she partnered up with Hoffman Media to launch her own lifestyle magazine, Cooking with Paula Deen. By the end of 2006, her second show, "Paula’s Party", premiered on the Food Network.
In January 2008, the home décor division of Nitches announced licensing of the Paula Deen name for tabletop décor. The target customer is a 42-65 year old individual who appreciates cooking and seeks out fun yet elegant items for everyday use and entertaining. Created by
