Nat Nast® Swimwear

A savvy entrepreneur, Nat Nast seized the opportunity to clothe the millions of Americans who took up bowling by launching The Nat Nast Company in 1946. Credited with designing the original "action back" shirt, earned Nat the nickname, "The King of Bowling Shirts". Envisioning a lifestyle brand that emulated authenticity and the style their dad was known for, Nat’s daughters Patty and Barbara relaunched Nat Nast Luxury Originals in 2000. The collection is a favorite among celebrities including James Gandolfini of Sopranos and Charlie Sheen of Two and a Half Men.

The Nat Nast® brand is licensed to Nitches for the categories of swimwear, tee shirts, and hats. Nitches designs the line; however Nat Nast retains all design approval authority.

The target customer is a 28-55 year old male who is successful, brand & status conscious and shops at high end retailers. The product line features designer sportswear with 1940's & 1950's nostalgic styling, both vintage and classic. For spring/summer 2008, swimwear will continue to mix fashion with volume styling and use performance fabrics including suede micro poly twill.

The "All Day Everyday Volley" is a very popular style offered in fifteen colors from basic
navy and black to fashion colors such as mojito, surf, and celadon. Printed styles are also available in floral, geometric and conversational mixed patterns. Tee shirts are 100% pima cotton and garment dyed to achieve a soft, casual feel.

The Nat Nast® line is sold to better department stores, better men's specialty stores and exclusive resorts. Retail prices for swimwear range from $48-$88 and $38-$60 for tees.
